What's New with the Distribution Service

Known Issues
Date: August 8th, 2008
Title: Bug found with the restore order functionality
We have discovered a bug in the "restore order" functionality. Currently, if any item within your cart is unavailable (such as FTEN roads being replaced by other data), the entire order fails. When this happens, you will need to create another order, pointing to the new datasets. We will work on fixing this issue, and posting any resolutions on the "Notice and Alerts" page within Distribution Service.

Title: Upload Shapefile Tool
The Upload Shapefile Tool, for inputting your own AOI, is intended to be a generalized tool. The following limits should be considered:
- one polygon only
- 1 meg file size limit (more vertices imply longer processing time)

Title: E00 files
E00 files created by Distribution Service do not automatically create regions for overlapping polygons. Please run the "polyregion" command on the imported coverage before a clean or build if regions are required.
